You have reached home, tired and hungry. Friends come over to watch the world cup with you and of course you want to have a nice dinner and enjoy the excitement of the match.

Home delivery to the rescue. We called up Max Kitchen and placed our order. The person who took the order was very friendly and readily agreed to make some changes in one of the items to suite our taste.
Items ordered included:

  • Malai Fish Tikka
  • Panchratni Dal
  • Hari Handi Gosht
  • Chicken tikka masala (prepared with Lasuni chicken)

Kulcha, Naan, Cheese Naan and Tandoori roti were freshly prepared and tasty. The cheese nan was not stuffed with cheese as we like it, only topped with cheese.

It was raining slightly but we received the food within 40 minutes. The food was hot & ready to serve.
Although we asked them to prepare everything less spicy, only the fish was non spicy. It was very tender and delicious. The grill aroma will remind you of a nice picnic next to a river. A serving of beautiful green chutney was the perfect accompaniment with the fish.

The Hari handi was delicious; however it was mostly just mutton bones with some tiny bits of meat. Left us wanting more.
Dal was extremely spicy. I think people who like spicy food will enjoy it.

The chicken tikka was delicious as well, although a bit on the spicy side, but much more manageable than the dal.
I cannot comment on the hygiene since we were not in the restaurant. Have to say that the appearance of food was acceptable.
Some pickled onion came as a side, which I think is cleaner and a better option than onion slices.

In the end I have to say, although we asked for non-spicy we did not get what we asked for, which is becoming a routine now. But overall the food was nice and my Indian friends enjoyed it a lot.
